September is Hunger Action Month. Few, if any, communities have been more affected by the health and economic fallout of the past 18 months than Southern Nevada. There are more than 363,000 Southern Nevadans experiencing food insecurity.

The number of food-insecure individuals we serve has gone from 1 in 5 to 1 in 6. One in four children now lives in a food-insecure home while 97% of the total food-insecure population in Southern Nevada resides in Clark County.

The Audacy’s 4 Corner’s Food Drive Radiothon event happened on September 16th and 17th.

Sam and Ash were Live On-Air on KXNT 840 on Thursday from 2-3 pm & on Friday from 12-3 pm.

Thursday was an introduction to the What’s Right Show (Sam and Ash’s own radio show) airing every day on KXNT 840 M-F 2-3 PM. Sam and Ash were part of the two-day fundraising event in support of feeding the community of Las Vegas $1 at a time.

On Thursday the 16th, Sam and Ash also had the privilege of speaking On-Air with Kate Hibbard- Director of Development at Three Square Food Bank.

On Friday the 17th, Sam and Ash interviewed Wayne Kostroski, Matt Birk, and Maria Gatti Live On-Air as well.
