Sam & Ash Join LVMPD for National Night Out: A Celebration of Safety, Community, and Connection
On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Sam & Ash Injury Law proudly joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for their annual National Night Out, a free, fun initiative designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. This year’s event brought hundreds of residents together for an evening of fun, food, and community connection — and Sam & Ash were right in the middle of it all.
From the moment the event kicked off, the atmosphere was full of energy and laughter. Families filled the park as kids lined up for the bouncy houses, challenges for prizes, raffles, and games. Police officers tossed footballs back and forth with kids, and showed off their talented K-9 officers, and offered an up close viewing experience of their specialty vehicles showing a lighter, more personal side of community policing.
The smell of classic hotdogs and burgers on charcoal filled the air, really adding to the “block party” feel while music and a VERY entertaining MC kept the crowd dancing — at one point, dozens of neighbors and officers joined together for the Cha-Cha Slide, creating one of the night’s most memorable moments.
Local organizations and vendors lined the area, handing out free swag, candy, and offering a chance to converse with neighbors to give more information about their businesses. It was a true community celebration — everyone coming together with the same goal: to build stronger, safer neighborhoods across Las Vegas.
The Sam & Ash Booth: Safety & Prevention Starts with Connection
Sam & Ash Injury Law set up a booth focused on connection, education, and safety awareness. We loved having this opportunity to spend the evening meeting residents, offering free case reviews, and answering questions about what to do after an accident or injury. Many visitors were curious to learn more about the firm’s community work, including ongoing programs and giveaways that focus on prevention, safety, and education.
A highlight of the night was the chance to share information about the 2nd Annual “Prevent the Crash” Safe Teen Driving Contest, which runs through October 31st. The contest invites Nevada students ages 16–22 to submit a short essay on what safe driving means to them, with incredible prizes up for grabs — including a brand-new 2025 Volkswagen Jetta, cash prizes, scholarships, and even a MacBook!
For Sam & Ash, this campaign represents more than just a contest. It’s about encouraging young drivers to take responsibility behind the wheel and sparking important conversations between teens and parents about safety. National Night Out was the perfect setting to share that message — surrounded by families, community leaders, and the very people the campaign hopes to protect.

As the evening came to a close, the energy of the crowd and the sense of togetherness were undeniable. Events like National Night Out remind us that public safety isn’t just about laws and enforcement — it’s about partnership. It’s about local businesses, police officers, and residents coming together to make our community stronger and safer.
