Nevada Business Features Sam & Ash Injury Law’s Free Parking Initiative in the Las Vegas Arts District

May 15, 2026
Sam & Ash Injury Law has earned regional media recognition for its commitment to the Las Vegas community, and the spotlight comes from one of Nevada’s most respected business publications, Nevada Business.
The magazine recently covered the firm’s ongoing Free Parking Initiative, highlighting how what began as an effort to help food and beverage workers in the Downtown Las Vegas Arts District has since grown into an open, community-wide program. The coverage underscores what Sam & Ash has always believed: that showing up for the community isn’t just the right thing to do, but also what separates a good neighbor from a great one.
What the Coverage Said
In its May 2026 feature, Nevada Business reported that Sam & Ash Injury Law is now accepting monthly entries for a free parking space located at a City of Las Vegas parking lot at 1326 S. Main St. — a prime spot in one of Las Vegas’s most vibrant and heavily trafficked neighborhoods. The publication noted that the program was originally designed to support restaurant and bar staff, but has since expanded to include anyone who lives, works, shops, eats, or spends time in the Arts District.
The article also announced the selection of the program’s second winner: Garret Krumpe, an employee of Nevada Brew Works, who received complimentary parking for the month of May. Entries for the June drawing are now open.
Founding partners Sam Mirejovsky and Ash Watkins were both quoted in the piece. “We started this because parking has become a real, everyday expense for people working in the Arts District,” said Mirejovsky. “We’re excited to expand the program and give more people the chance to benefit.”
Watkins added: “The Arts District is home to a vibrant mix of restaurants, shops, galleries, and local businesses. This is a meaningful way for us to support the community and those who make it thrive.”
Why This Initiative Matters
Parking in Downtown Las Vegas isn’t just an urban inconvenience. With the rapid growth of the District, it’s become a genuine financial and logistical burden for the people who power the Arts District every day. Paid meters, rising costs, and limited availability have put real pressure on residents, small business employees, and regular visitors alike. The challenges are well-documented, and the community has been vocal about the need for solutions.
Sam & Ash Injury Law heard that conversation and acted on it.
Founded in 2019, the firm has built its reputation on one principle: the client comes first. This Free Parking Initiative is one example of how Sam & Ash translates its commitment to people into tangible, everyday action — not just when someone has been hurt, but as an ongoing part of being a responsible, community-rooted business in Las Vegas.
