Souper Bowl of Caring Telethon 2026: Sam & Ash Injury Law Returns to Fight Child Hunger in Southern Nevada
For the second year in a row, Sam & Ash Injury Law proudly partnered with the Souper Bowl of Caring telethon, a community-driven event broadcast on KSNV News 3 and The CW Las Vegas to support Serving Our Kids Foundation in the fight against child hunger in Southern Nevada.
Ash Watkins of Sam & Ash Injury Law joined the telethon live to share why the firm continues to step up, how this year’s donation will help, and how everyday Las Vegans can join in doing What’s Right for our local Clark County kids.
The Growing Crisis of Child Hunger in Clark County
Food insecurity remains a relentless challenge across Southern Nevada:
- Approximately 115,000-128,000 children under 18 years old live in food-insecure households, which is roughly 1 in 5 kids in Clark County alone.
- 36% of these kids (around 33,000) do not qualify for federal nutrition programs like SNAP, leaving critical gaps.
- Weekends are the toughest on these kids and their families. Many children rely on school meals during the week, but return home for the weekend, where they have little to no food from Friday afternoon until Monday morning.
Serving Our Kids Foundation’s mission is clear: provide weekly weekend meal bags to food-insecure, homeless, and at-risk children across Clark County. They currently serve over 4,000 kids in 100+ schools, but thousands more still need help.

Why Sam & Ash Returned for Year Two
When asked what motivated the firm to support the Souper Bowl of Caring again, the answer was simple and heartfelt:

Sam & Ash Injury Law proudly donated $5,000 to the Souper Bowl of Caring, which will provide over 1,280 weekend meal bags for hungry children in Southern Nevada.
